On confirmation of your reservation, a deposit equal to 50% of, the total amount of the reservation, or one night’s accommodation, plus the total value of any additional extras ordered then will be charged to your credit card as a guarantee for your reservation.
The remaining balance will be deducted from your credit card fourteen (14) days prior to arrival.
Failure to pay the balance prior to check in will result in cancellation of your booking.
A non-refundable credit card surcharge of 2% applies to all card payments.
For any reservations made for Public Holidays; December 23rd – January 31st or EVENT DATES, a deposit of 100% of the total amount due for the reservation will be deducted when making your reservation. This deposit will be non-refundable.
All rates at the time of booking are correct, current, and cannot be changed under any circumstances once the booking has been made.
Cancellation of a booking will need to be received by Eight Willows Retreat fourteen (14) days prior to the arrival date (based on a 2.00pm check-in). Any cancellation received after this period will be charged 50% of the total amount of the reservation or one night’s accommodation (based on whichever amount is greater) plus the total value of any additional extras ordered.
- A reservation date can be changed up to seven (7) days prior to the arrival date (based on a 2.00pm check-in), rates are subject to change with the reservation move.
- If reservation is moved outside of Fourteen (14) days reservation will become a non-refundable reservation once changed.
Any refunds will be paid to the guest’s nominated credit card provided when making the reservation or by EFT transfer to a nominated bank account.
Bookings made by any person under the age of 18 are not permitted and will be cancelled.
Group bookings Policy
One month prior to arrival Final Chalet numbers need to be confirmed.
Any cancellation received after this period will be charged 50% of the total amount of the reservation, or one night’s accommodation (based on whichever amount is greater) plus, the total value of any additional extras ordered.
All functions/group bookings must liaise with Function Manager, private parties are not allowed on the property.
You consent to the collection and authorise the disclosure of your personal information for the purposes of administering a promotional reservation and providing you with any associated services including marketing & promotion by Eight Willows Retreat & associated third parties. Please note specific promotions and offers can only be redeemed on an individual basis and are valid for new bookings only and not in conjunction with other promotions or offers.
Covid Situation Exemption Policy
Where guests cancel within 14 days of arrival due to reinstated COVID restrictions (or because they are obliged to self-isolate for infection control) we will offer a 12-month voucher for the value of their booking, provided guests give more than 72 hours’ notice of the postponement of their booking and provide proof of their situation (RAT or PCR Test)
Additional Cleaning Charge:
Chalets are to be left in a reasonable state:
- Furniture should not be repositioned, dirty dishes should be stacked in the dishwasher
- Rubbish should be contained in the rubbish bins provided.
- Any additional cleaning required to remedy any of the above, beyond our standard cleaning procedure, will incur a $100 charge to the guest’s credit card, plus any professional charges for stain removal, carpet or curtain cleaning etc.
- There is no smoking permitted in the chalets. An additional fee for professional cleaning of carpets or curtains will be charged should evidence be found of smoking in the chalet.

Damage to Property:
Guests registering at the Retreat are responsible for any damages or loss to the chalet’s interior, contents, or immediate surrounds. Damage caused whilst occupying a chalet will be charged to the guest’s credit card (per management discretion).
Strictly No Pet Policy:
Only allowance if for therapy/guide dogs etc. with proof of letter. An additional fee for professional cleaning of carpets or curtains will be charged should evidence be found of a Pet in the chalet.

Please note that the Retreat is in a high fire risk area due to surrounding National Forest and native bushland. Therefore, please refrain from putting your cigarettes out anywhere (especially in the bush) except in the ashtrays provided for each chalet. Remember, any ember or spark is enough to start a bushfire!
The use of candles or tea lights in the chalet is not permitted. Obviously, apart from the damage candles can cause to the bathtubs and chalet interior, they are a potential fire and safety risk and cannot be condoned by management. Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused by the use of candles/tea lights in the chalets.
